Michael Hofmeyr is junior associate professor at Tokyo University of Science, where he teaches English for academic purposes and linguistics. He holds a PhD in computer-assisted language learning from Kyoto University and his research interests include digital game-based language learning and artificial intelligence in CALL. Michael currently serves as JALTCALL publications chair and as editor-in-chief of JALTCALL Trends.
